WalkBrighton brings a new level of detail to walking information on the iPhone and iPod Touch - the map is designed for pedestrians, especially for Brighton. Crossings, railings, ramps and footpaths are shown in detail, as well as individual shops, bars and public services. 3D illustrations of key landmarks help you place yourself in the map - just one of many features that makes this one of the best-looking and most user-friendly maps you will see on the iPhone. Tap the locate me button for your current location and walking distances to nearby destinations. Switch between attractions, shopping and nightlife maps and zoom from the city overview down to the street corner. Off-map tabs point to nearby areas and information screens are at hand to give you more information about the area you are in. If you are visiting Brighton for the day, staying for the weekend or live locally, WalkBrighton is the pedestrian map you will want in your pocket. WalkBrighton is developed in association with Brighton & Hove City Council. This is a beta version and comments are welcome at WalkBrighton@electricmapping.com. |
