As design director at Applied Information Group, Ben has overseen the detailed development and delivery of the Legible London prototype in Bond Street as well as the system development during the pilot phase. Ben always places the end user at the heart of development, combining usability with obsessive attention to detail to achieve the right balance in maps, forms and publications.
Prior to joining AIG, Ben worked with Erik Spiekermann, John Belknap, Simon Esterson and Stephen Coates redesigning publications including The Economist, New Scientist, Life magazine and Dublin’s Sunday Tribune. Ben helped design the identity for Lexus Europe and oversaw the creation of a new visual identity for Invesco Perpetual.
Editorial design continues to feature at AIG in projects such as the redesign of Companies House forms and the Legible London Yellow Book.
